Assembly Technician / Mechanical Fitter
Niemcy
The position includes international assembly, installation, and service assignments at customer sites, mainly within Europe.
Responsibilities
- Mechanical assembly and installation of machines and industrial equipment
- Installation of mechanical components, steel structures, piping, fans, valves, and other machine components
- Assembly work according to technical drawings and installation plans
- Use of standard hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment
- Adjustment, inspection, and testing of installed components
- Support during machine commissioning
- Maintenance, repair, and modification work at customer sites
- Independent work as part of an international installation team
Qualifications
- Professional experience in machine assembly, industrial mechanics, mechanical fitting, or a comparable technical field
- Completed vocational training in a mechanical or technical profession is preferred
- Good practical skills and technical understanding
- Experience in assembling machines, industrial equipment, and steel structures
- Ability to read and work according to technical drawings
- Confident use of hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment
- Basic knowledge of drilling, grinding, cutting, fitting, and mechanical adjustment work
- Experience with piping, fans, valves, and mechanical components is an advantage
- Independent, accurate, and responsible working style
- Reliability, flexibility, and ability to work as part of a team
- Willingness to travel internationally for several days or weeks
- Valid Category B driving licence is required
- German or English language skills are preferred
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally
