Great job opportunity for Construction & Commissioning Engineers (Instrumentation, LOOP, SAS
and/or Mechanical Process, Rotating Equipment) to join the ranks of our client based in Norway -
one of world leaders operating on energy market.
This will be 6 (3+3) month long contract based on 15/13 shift pattern (15 days on, 13 days off). Cost
of accommodation and travel will be covered by the client. There is as well possibility of relocation
for the length of the contract to Norway near site of operations (Melkøya).
As System Commissioning Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Preparations and execution within the project for all relevant systems.
- Support other disciplines with interfacing commissioning activities.
- Participation in weekly meetings regarding planning, status, reporting, challenges, SSU etc.
- Ensure all work performed in commissioning is made in full compliance with safety regulations Prepare and execute commissioning on relevant discipline/system
- Handle Commissioning Queries (CQ)
- Participate in MC verification to obtain Ready for Commissioning status to secure a smooth transfer of commissioning packages from Construction to Commissioning
- Carry out commissioning preparation checks for all relevant system and related equipment
- Follow and update commissioning procedures as needed during commissioning
- Following up punch work in the field and punch list documentation and clearance
- Ensure that drawings/documents are marked up with changes identified during commissioning, and that as-built documentation is updated according to Site Instructions.
- Establish and maintain good communication with other disciplines in the Commissioning group, offshore contractor representatives and Operation/Plant Integrity.
- Establish and maintain good cooperation with ATS supplier representatives and commissioning subcontractors, so that they can complete their scope according to call out request for Commissioning.
- Address areas of concern, propose and execute corrective actions
- Contribute on progress reporting of commissioning activities according to established reporting routines
As Construction Field Engineer you will be responsible for
- Follow-up and Verification of Contractor’s installation, construction, mechanical completion,preservation, and documentation work.
- Follow-up all (discipline) construction activities considering HSE, quality and schedule and highlight areas of concern and possible corrective
- Contribute to keep the Construction follow-up strategy updated and in accordance to requirements and work processes
- Supervise and manage Local inspectors in Equinor site team
- Support and follow up Contractor with respect to construction issues and shop engineering
- Work closely with Equinor Engineering and Procurement related to IFC deliveries and Purchase Orders (including CPI equipment), follow-up that preservation is started upon receiving and inspection of equipment
- Ensure that fabrication documentation is issued by Contractor in accordance with requirements
- Ensure routines for handling of construction red-line mark-ups, blind list and jumper-log from Contractor towards handover to Commissioning
- Follow up installation and construction activities daily and verify all MCCRs signed by Contractor to ensure that Mechanical Completion (MC) is achieved with a minimum of punch listed items and ready for handover to Commissioning Ensure that systems and equipment are protected and preserved and secure that ProCoSys is updated continuously
- Participate in Construction and Tool-Box meetings for the relevant discipline
- Participate in all Inspection & Test plan activities including area/system/discipline MC punch out as required and ensure Contractors correct input and quality to ProCoSys
- Contribute actively towards Contractors timely achievement of system handover
- Follow up and verify Contractors closing of punch items as required
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience from preparatory and execution phase
- Longer relevant experience may compensate for less formal education
- Detailed knowledge of Equinor technical requirements (TR-documents), Work processes
- (ARIS) and tools (ProCoSys)
- High HSE standards
- CoA within Automation
- 130-160zł (the proposed rates are net rates after all costs and taxes have been deducted)
