About the role
As a Verzorgende IG at WelThuis, you provide daily care to elderly people with dementia or somatic care needs, working based on the individual care plan.
Your responsibilities include:
- Providing personal care such as washing, dressing, eating, mobility support, and other recurring care activities.
- Performing technical nursing procedures within your qualifications.
- Monitoring residents' physical and mental condition and identifying changes.
- Supporting residents with dementia by responding appropriately to changing behaviour, restlessness, or disorientation.
- Maintaining a calm, safe, and well-organised care environment.
- Taking responsibility for the daily flow of care.
- Working independently while collaborating with colleagues, volunteers, informal caregivers, doctors, treating physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you:
- Have a good command of the Dutch language (spoken and written) at 2F/B1 level or higher.
- Can provide a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) (costs will be reimbursed).
- Enjoy working with elderly people and demonstrate this in your daily work.
- Are legally permitted to work in the Netherlands.
- Are willing to work different shifts according to the schedule, including short, long, and occasional night shifts.
- Hold an MBO-3 diploma as a Verzorgende, an equivalent qualification, or a CIBG certificate.
- Relevant work experience and up-to-date practical knowledge are considered an advantage.
What we offer
- Salary between €2,663.54 and €3,592.96 gross per month (based on a 36-hour work week, CAO VVT FWG 35).
- 8% holiday allowance.
- 8.3% end-of-year bonus.
- Employment conditions in accordance with the applicable CAO.
- Allowances for irregular working hours.
- Travel expense reimbursement according to the CAO.
