Job Description
Our Client is a growing automotive supplier group, OEM for the biggest automotive companies. According to its growth and development we are looking for candidates who would like to work in England.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the manufacturing team in the delivery of parts ensuring that all customer requirements are met, meeting quality, cost and delivery targets both internally and externally
- Build an effective manufacturing team including recruiting, training, developing and conducting performance reviews
- Plan budgets, monitor results, formulate forecasts when required for the area
- Establish and implement manufacturing targets, monitor and support individuals and the team in the achievement of targets and objectives
- Ensure corrective actions are taken when necessary
- Working with Customer Teams, support the effective introduction of technical changes and new production lines
- Cooperation with customers as required
- Ensure that the manufacturing area adheres to all company processes and procedures
- Ensure area complies with health and safety and environmental procedures and be pro-active in the development of a safe working environment
- Degree in Production or Engineering discipline
- At least 2 years of experience in a quality or production engineering role, plus 3 years leading a team, in Automotive industry
- Project management and implementation of new products would be the advantage
- Knowledge of modern manufacturing techniques gained within the automotive industry
- Knowledge of ISO TS/16949
- Comprehensive knowledge of production planning and control
- Evidence of leadership and team building skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Systematic, methodical, problem solver
- Ability to operate independently and make business decisions
