Our client is a company that is a part of the international syndicate with over 1,600 employees. At their unit in Zedelgem (near Bruges) 115 engineers and colleagues work on the development, testing, prototyping and production of high-technology transmission systems and subsystems for high-performance, top-of-the-line vehicles.
They are currently looking for:
- As an purchasing expeditor you work in the procurement team and support the development department. You make sure that the needed prototype pieces arrive on time, so that the timelines of the development projects are respected.
- Based on the information from the purchase department, you convert the order receipt to SAP into orders.
- You process the suppliers' feedback regarding the delivery of the documents and actively follow the deficits.
- Your efficient and cordial approach ensures that the pieces are delivered on time. At the same time you correctly register the purchase orders in SAP.
- In addition to these main tasks, you support the registration of incoming goods, if necessary, arrange the transport from and to the suppliers and take care of the corresponding administration.
- You are in possession of a Bachelor's degree and preferably have affinity with technical products and production processes.
- You already have insight into the logistic flow of goods and experience with ERP package.
- You quickly learn new things.
- You are assertive, communicative and stress-proof in giving what you need from your suppliers.
- You like an administrative job where accurate and correct work is of great importance
- You work analytically and structured
- You have a good knowledge of English. Knowledge of German is a great added value.
- You are willing to learn Dutch
- Few years on a similar position.
