Job description
Job Purpose and Accountabilities - to work as part of a test team to meet customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and design Test Cases
- Execute test cases and ensure test sign-off within agreed timelines
- Ensure all defects are raised with developers and are resolved within project timelines
- Troubleshoot issues to determine if they are environmental issues or code defects
- Configurate
- Communicate with internal and external customers to clarify requirements and update on test progress
- Create Test Report upon test completion
Requirements
- 3+years test experience , telecoms environment beneficial
- Recognised professional qualification or equivalent experience
- Essential Requirements:
- Ability to work on own initiative within a traditional QA team structure or a Scrum-oriented team
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux
- Genuine, demonstrable interest in software quality Proven ability to deliver on multiple projects
Desirable:
- Scripting skills (Python, Perl, bash)
- Continuous Integration experience
- Jira knowledge
